Our fifth day in Lourdes was filled with tenderness, prayer, and hope as we reflected on the healing love of God and the compassion of Our Lady.

The morning began with a deeply moving Mass of the Anointing of the Sick. Many of our pilgrims received the sacrament, surrounded by the prayers and support of our diocesan family. It was a powerful reminder that in moments of weakness, God draws close to us, offering strength and peace.

In the afternoon, we gathered at the Baths for the Geste de l’Eau (Water Gesture) Ceremony — a simple yet profound act of washing, symbolizing renewal and trust in God’s mercy. As the cool water flowed over our hands, we were reminded of the healing grace that continues to pour forth from this holy place.

Tomorrow, our pilgrims will be making the journey back home after 5 days of grace and blessings at Lourdes. We carry with us your prayers and intentions, united in faith and hope.
