Families of Parishes

The Diocese of Cork and Ross has begun restructuring into 16 Families of Parishes

Introducing this initiative in summer 2022, Bishop Fintan Gavin said “Bringing parishes together as families of parishes presents an opportunity for much greater lay participation and shared leadership of parishes.”

Alongside the change to Families of Parishes, Bishop Fintan issued a pastoral letter which sets forth the vision for a renewed and mission-focussed Church in the diocese.
