The Ukrainian community in Cork gathered in large numbers for the celebration of the Sacred Liturgy in the Church of the Incarnation in Frankfield on Sunday 26th February.

Many newly arrived Ukrainian people and families gathered to remember those who have died in the war over the last year.

The also prayed for those who continue to defend their country against the Russian invasion.

Fr. Roman Biletskyy celebrated the Sacred Liturgy and welcomed Bishop Fintan on behalf of Ukrainian Community in Cork and beyond.

Bishop Fintan remembered all those who have died in the war in his prayer and words of blessing.

The Lord Mayor was represented by Cllr. Dan Boyle.

The Ukrainian community gather in the Church of the Incarnation in Frankfield each Sunday at 1pm for the Sacred Liturgy.
