Notes
His brother Very Rev. Thomas J. O’Toole also served in the Diocese.
. He was a cousin of Archdeacon James Fleming, P.P., The Lough (1890-1921).
As a singer , Fr. O’Toole will be remembered by the people of Cork. He had a particularly fine tenor voice, which lacked nothing in melody or volume, and when he was stationed at the Church of the Immaculate Conception (The Lough), it was his special and joyful task to lead the voices of thousands of his fellow citizens in praise to God at the Annual Eucharistic Procession.
