Bishop visits Canadian parish

Bishop Fintan Gavin has visited Saint Benedict Parish, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

The parish describes itself as follows: “it brings people to Jesus, forms disciples, and sends them out to transform the world”.

Deacon Ronan Sheehan from Murragh and Templemartin Parish who is preparing to be ordained a priest of our diocese is currently assigned to the parish.

As well as celebrating Mass at the parish, Bishop Fintan also had meetings with the pastor, associate pastor, and the Parish Leadership Team.
