6th Sunday of Easter
Introduction (by the Presider): As disciples of the risen Lord, confident in his promise never to leave us alone, we place our needs before God our Father.
- For the Church: that through the gift of the Holy Spirit, she may continue to witness faithfully to the love and truth of Christ throughout the world. Lord, hear us.
- For our parish community: that we may remain steadfast in faith, hope, and love as we follow the way of Christ. Lord, hear us.
- For Christian unity: that the Holy Spirit may guide us toward greater peace and unity among all Christians. Lord, hear us.
- For those preparing for exams or making important decisions: that the Holy Spirit may guide them with wisdom and peace. Lord, hear us.
- For young people: that they may discover Christ’s presence in their lives and follow him with generosity.
- For peace in our world: that the Holy Spirit may guide leaders in promoting peace, dignity, and care for the vulnerable. Lord, hear us.
The Presider prays for the dead: For those who have died (especially N & N): that Christ, who will never leave us orphaned, may bring them to eternal life. Lord, hear us.
Conclusion (by the Presider): Father of love and mercy, you send us the Holy Spirit to guide and strengthen us. Hear the prayers we offer through Christ our Lord.
