Respect and Dignity

The Diocese of Cork and Ross recognises that good pastoral care and respect for the dignity of every person requires that personal data should be properly secured and managed and eventually disposed of in an appropriate manner. As part of this pastoral care, the Diocese has appointed a Data Protection Officer (“DPO”). The role of the DPO is to assist and advise the Diocese achieving compliance with the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and acts as a first point of contact for requests from individuals regarding their personal data.
