Obituary
cCARTHY, (Enniskeane & Bantry): On March 7th 2016, peacefully at Bushmount Nursing Home, Clonakilty. Very Reverend Fr. Sean, retired Parish Priest of Enniskeane and Desertserges and brother of the late Cáit, Bríd and Nessa. Deeply regretted by his sisters Una (Hurley), Ita (McCarthy) and brothers-in-law Thomas Hurley and Pat Hartnett, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, Bishop John Buckley and priests of the Diocese of Cork and Ross, former parishioners, including his housekeepers and carers, and his many friends. May he rest in peace. Fr. Sean’s remains will be received into the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Enniskeane on Monday evening (7th) at 8.30pm and will repose until 10pm. Lying in repose on Tuesday evening from 6pm until Vigil Prayers at 8.30pm. Concelebrated Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in the adjoining church yard.
