Two Bishops were present at Enniskeane to pay their respects to Canon Murphy – Bishop Ml. Murphy of Cork and Ross and his Auxiliary Bishop, Bishop John Buckley.

Sean Buckley (Ballinlough), Ted Hallahan (Douglas), Dan Crowley (The Lough) Liam O’Regan (The Lough), Christy O’Shaughnessey (Passage West) and Sean Burke (Ballinhasig). Master of ceremonies was, Fr. Denis Hayes, Hishop’s Secretary. Very Rev. Eugene Cashman, P.P. (Drimoleague) was Chanter and Fr. Martin Scully, C.C. (Enniskeane), Assistant M.C.
