Fr. Brennan’s ecclesiastical education was received at the Capuchin Convent of Frescati at Rome, where he was ordained. For many years of his life he continued to be a member of the Capuchin order in Cork. Shortly after his secularization he accepted an appointment as one of the chaplains of the Cork Workhouse.
