During Fr Good’s appointment at UCC he was also Chaplain to the Presentation Brothers at Greenmount and to St Anne’ Adoption Society. In May, 1999, Fr Good was conferred with an honorary doctorate in literature by University College, Cork, “as a scholar and a man of courage of whom UCC is proud”, said Prof Aine Hyland.
