Obituary
O’DONOVAN (Newcestown, Bantry and Clonakilty): On January 6, 2009, unexpectedly, at the Bon Secours Hospital, Cork, Canon JOHN O’DONOVAN. Deeply regretted by his loving brothers Peter and Michael, sisters-in-law Mim and Eileen, nephews Michael and Peter, nieces Miriam, Sinead, Aileen, Maíread, Therese and Rachel, Bishop Buckley, fellow priests, parishioners, former parishioners, housekeeper Rose, colleagues and listeners at C103, relatives and a very large circle of friends. May he rest in peace. Lying in repose at Gabriel and O’Donovan’s Funeral Home, Bandon on today (Wednesday) from 6pm, followed by removal at 8pm to St John’s Church, Newcestown. Rosary on tomorrow (Thursday) at 7pm. Concelebrated Requiem Mass on Friday at 12 noon. Funeral afterwards to the adjoining cemetery. God Bless and Beir Bua
