His Lordship, Most Rev. Dr. Lucey, Bishop of Cork, presided at the Solemn Requiem Mass. The celebrant of the Mass was, Very Rev. Edward Canon Fitzgerald, P.P., Ballinlough; deacon was, Very Rev. Thomas Canon O’Keeffe, P.P., Glanmire; sub-deacon was, Very Rev. Denis Canon Murphy, P.P., Church of the Immaculate Conception (The Lough), and the master of ceremonies was Fr. Jeremiah O’Mahony, C.C., Cathedral.
