Obituary
Two Bishops concelebrated the Requiem Mass at the Sacred Heart Church, Glounthaune – Bishop Michael Murphy and Bishop John Buckley. With them were Fr. Jack McCarthy, C.C., Carrignavar (first cousin), Fr. L. Cosgrove (first cousin), Very Rev. Edward T. Fitzgerald, P.P., Glounthaune, a host of priests – classmates, priests who had worked with him in the parishes, friends.
The singing of the Mass was lead by Very Rev. Eugene Cashman, P.P., and Very Rev. D. Linehan, P.P.
Bishop Buckley preached the homily.
