After ordination he accepted a two year assignment in the Diocese of Buffalo, N.Y. On the completion of the two years, at the request of Bishop William Turner (Diocese of Buffalo), he decided to remain in the Diocese of Buffalo.
Incardinated into the Diocese of Buffalo on the 18/1/1930.
He died on the 50th. anniversary of his ordination while attending the wedding reception that followed the marriage ceremony of his nephew.
