Bishop’s first visit to Bantry Parish

Bishop Fintan made a pastoral visit to Bantry Parish for the first time on last weekend. He celebrated Mass and was warmly welcomed by parishioners and the extended parish team in Bantry.

As it is geographically the third largest parish in the country, he got a full tour of this scenic parish in West Cork.

During Bishop Fintan’s first pastoral visit to Bantry Parish, he was greeted by three generations of the Murphy family: Anne Maria with her three children and her Dad Jim.

Bishop Fintan is looking forward to his return later in the spring for the Sacrament of Confirmation.
